A SUBTERRANEAN HIDEAWAY ON MARKET ST.

Seating Area at Local Edition

Beneath Market St., in the depths of the historical Hearst building lies the subterranean cocktail bar known as Local Edition. Inspired by the newspaper business of the 50’s and 60’s, you will find a sophisticated décor juxtaposed by vintage paper presses and clippings from the archives of San Francisco’s past. Our cocktail menu includes both the contemporary and the classic with a strong nod to the drinking habits of a not so distant era. “Culinary” Highballs, updated versions of the Bloody Mary and Gibson are just a few of the choices we offer. We also have tableside decanter service should you feel the need to indulge in your favorite spirit chosen from a list of small production craft distillers.
